In today's business environment, every business should be connected to the internet.
Many companies start with the basic ADSL or broadband, and we can arrange quotes for both.
Many businesses now look at SDSL or Lease-Line options as they need bothway up-speed & more
reliability.
However, Typically a 10mb lease line has been about £9,000 -£14,000 per annum dependent
on location to the nearest POP (exchange). Again we can get quotes, but there is now a new
generation of lease line aimed at SME's called EFM. EFM is less
than £3000 per annum.
NEW GENERATION LEASE LINES FOR SME's - EFM
Basically, as technology has advanced,
more and more bandwidth can be sent down standard copper, in the street,
that could not be used just a few years ago.
EFM is based on Daul (2 pair) or Quad (4
Pair) twisted copper technology direct from the exchange, speeds will be
dependent on distance from the exchange and quality of the copper.
Because the EFM is dependent on the copper in the street you will be told your
expected speed before you commit.
BENEFITS
2mb-20mb
1;1 Contention (No sharing in the exchange, typically an ADSL with have 10-50 other
users)
Installed by Openreach (BT's installation company)
SLA (committed service level agreement, not available with ADSL
or Broadband)
NO upfront or Install cost
AND........after the quote.......If you decide to go ahead and DON'T get the speed Guaranteed (because of
bad copper, problems in the street etc) you can cancel at no cost!
DISADVANTAGES
Because the service is based on distance and quality of the copper in the ground, you
will need a quote to find out if you can have the service and what speeds maybe available. (after testing by BT)
If this is of interest please make and enquiry and
an Advisor will
contact you.
