Sue Cotter is Genesis Hypnotherapy's Principal Hypnotherapist and manages three practices: 18 Rye Street in Bishops Stortford, Herts; 5 Ashford Road in South Woodford, London; and Champneys Health Spa, Henlow, Beds. As Champneys resident hypnotherapist, Sue provides a hypnotherapy and counselling service to Champneys clients who come to see her from all over Britain.

 

Sue uses a combination of Clinical Hypnotherapy, Hypnoanalysis, Counselling and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) to treat her clients, ensuring that treatments are tailored to each client's individual needs. Sue allows 90 minutes for each initial session which allows her time to unravel the underlying causes behind her client’s presenting condition, and begin the agreed treatment program. Follow-up sessions are expected to last up to one hour.

 

Sue treats a wide range of issues, specialising in stress, anxiety, insomnia, habits, phobias, sports performance, total relaxation, relationship issues, anger management, and childrens conditions; Sue has a special interest in children on the autistic spectrum. She has had considerable success with clients who wish to stop smoking and has developed her own 2 session treatment programme.

 

Sue is licensed at her Champneys and South Woodford practices to exclusively provide the revolutionary "Hypno-Band" weight loss programme. Here, clients with a BMI of 30+ are taken, under hypnosis, through a gastric band operation over a course of 4-6 sessions.
